You made me very happy with your comment about my pics:) I have a Canon Digital IXUS 500px compact & also carry a very lightweight tripod around too. It extends to about 3ft. I take them everytime I go out on my bike or for a walk. I stick the whole lot in my ruck sack with my puncture stuff etc. You never know when you might see something pretty. My latest pic of the Thames at night from Richmond Hill, I just rested the camera on the top step with a 1/2 second exposure. It's amazing what you can get at night if you can leave the camera alone.
