On The Land
First day brought the sign of the snake
timber rattler discarded skin
Sign it's meant to be, I want this land
Anything that reminds me that I'm an animal
just one of the pack
no better than the rest
just as likely to be poisoned
taken in as part of the food chain
or absorbed by microbes
is pleasure to me
Releases me from domination foolishness
