Too much (re-told)*

I called my hubby.... though it took two separate phone conversations for me to tell him the truth, that fatigue had paralyzed my legs, that I was stuck in the car, in the carport, while our daughter played in the front yard. He was working, way out on the preserve. I didn't want to make him stop, come home, yatta yatta. We were fine. So I waited another 20-25 minutes before I called him back. I just kept thinking, any moment now, I’ll be able to get out of my car seat and walk into that house. I could do it, come on! Total time in the car: 1:06. Can you believe it? It didn't feel that long.

Who would you call Ample & what help would you ask for? It must have been quite bad for a bit there! If I was in that situation, I think I would just sit there until I was well again. Thats what I do when my ankle hurts sooo much after a trip around the shops and walking is just impossible.
It got me thinking about the bike crash I had the other day. I didn't want any help from anyone, even though I moaned about the passing cyclists. But I did expect them to at least say something, like 'Are you alright?.....or 'Nice bike.' If I was bleeding like a hose and had a broken leg, I would have said I was alright and not to worry anyway;)
Just an acknowledgment would have been fine. It does get lonely out there at times when smiles go unanswered. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a 'Smile Addict', far from it actually, I only smile or nod on a few occasions, when I'm in a good mood. But I do make eye contact with everyone I come across and you'e be surpried at just how many people have 'Blinkers' on. Maybe it's just me eh;)
I hope you're alright!

Reworked the entry.... spurred on by inspiration from Jason's comments. Had to do it. No confusion.

Good grief...
I pray this doesn't happen again - do you ever discuss these little episodes - think you slid down to the floor once and made a game of it with your daughter, now this - with your doctor?
This is not one of the "possible side effects" listed in the medication brochures...
Well, if this happens again, and the hubby can't come home - TRY CALLING 911!!!

oh sure it is.... called "extreme fatigue"... listed under "less serious" side effects. Definately not 911 material - I'm not dying or scared.... just am... way too tired to move... way way too tired to move.

Ample, what? Once again: What? Come again: what? Paralized? And you were just sitting there? You might have steel nerves, warrior. You should call 911 right away, it's not another side effect, it's serious!!! Don't play with it, it's like fire, you don't play with fire!!!

naw... it's really not that big a deal. I can move.... I'm just too tired to do it. You see?
